The beautiful old village Finestrat is located 40 km north of Alicante and very close to Benidorm. This creates a unique combination, inland it is a mountain village and also a small tourist resort on the sea called Cala Finestrat. The picturesque village, located on the mountain side of Puig Campana, has a beautiful view from the mountains to the sea; the architecture has a distinct Moorish influence and many of the houses are colorfully painted. Friday is a market day.

Cala Finestrat

It is a 'village' with good quality apartments and a wide choice of restaurants, numerous cafés and bars, some with entertainment and a small variety of shops. Benidorm is only 3 km away with a good bus service and many taxis are easily accessible. You can visit La Cala all year round for good restaurants and a very quiet beach. In the summer there is an arts and crafts market in the afternoon along the coast and a large weekly market at the beach throughout the year.

Ideal location

Terra Mittica and Terra Natura are within easy reach and are easily reachable by car or taxi, as well as the very popular shopping center 'La Marina' with the Carrefour and Lidl. In the evening, if you are looking for some entertainment, you can try the Casino, watch the sun going down with a bottle of wine or simply enjoy the lively village and entertainment around the beach. But again, you must find Benidorm is around the corner with the best nightlife in Europe!

Golf in Finestrat

Finestrat has two golf courses, the Real Faula, a professional course and an exclusive one, designed by the famous golfer Jack Nicklaus, both attract golfers all year round. Finestrat is a perfect base for a golf holiday.
